Navigating FIU Analytics Dashboards (June 9, 2020)

Adding depth to understandings of FIU research samples

How many students at FIU are in STEM fields, and which degree programs are they in? How many Hispanic students are in doctoral programs and where did they attend school prior to coming to FIU? This hands on workshop hosted by Dr. Adam Zimmerman (Associate Director of Institutional Research) will help you answer these questions, and also give you ideas for developing studies that draw from FIU populations.

Training that will teach you how to navigate FIU analytical data will help with your ability to apply research that draws from student data in useful and meaningful ways.

This workshop will help students who are collecting data from FIU students or other populations based on campus learn how to understand the population demographics and individual level identities. To access the FIU Analytics platform, you must be a member of the FIU community with an FIU email address. However, attendees do not need access to participate in this workshop.
