Our COmmunity

We are at a time where people across the world are experiencing constant shifts in power, resources, and cultural meanings. In this period of globalization are no longer isolated incidents irrelevant to our local work. As action scientists, we need the tools and capacity to address pressing issues arising from these inevitable changes cross culturally. The ASCP Workgroup is a community of academic researchers seeking to contribute to improving well being across the lifespan and global borders using principles of social justice, intersectionality and participatory action research.

Although we are positioned within an academic institution, we have actively built meaningful and equitable relationships with individuals and groups outside this setting. This is why we are fortunate to have opportunities to collaborate with some of the most effective organizations already leading efforts to address our shared outcome goals.
